Anamarija Bačani (b. 2002, Slovenia) is a designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden, working across objects, spaces, and experiences. Her practice is rooted in attentiveness — to materials, to people, and to place — asking how design can find entry points within larger socio-ecological systems and open up new ways of relating to the everyday world. Through material experimentation and making, she investigates the cultural and ecological histories embedded in materials and the meanings that form around them. Her work reaches the viewer through tactile and sensory qualities, shaped by her background in textile and fashion design with a sensitivity to colour, surface, and composition.
